At Nyra, she leads the development of innovative financing models and evidence-based strategies that empower smallholder farmers while regenerating landscapes and capturing carbon.
Elizabeth Young
Co-founder and COO
Elizabeth guides Nyra’s operations across the Global South and the UK. She supports the design of regenerative value chains and impact systems that ensure quality, traceability, and climate-positive practice. Her work spans sourcing, production, partnerships, and investor engagement - turning Nyra’s mission into measurable impact.
Dr. Issah Alhassan Suhiyini
Ghana Director
Dr. Suhiyini is an environmental and resource economist dedicated to advancing sustainable land management and climate adaptation, with a strong focus on poverty reduction and gender empowerment. Dr. Suhiyini brings expertise in livelihoods, vulnerability, and resource governance to support smallholder farmers and ecologically sound development across Africa.

As an Advisory Member at Nyra, Mabel brings her expertise in community engagement, gender inclusion, and arts-based storytelling to foster equitable, locally grounded connections between smallholder farmers, investors, and creative sustainability initiatives in Ghana.
